A little over a month has been since my last post and it does feel like a lifetime. Since the last time I wrote here, I have been working a lot on promotion and creating new pieces to showcase my artwork this year. As a result of that I created my first Youtube video! It is a short one but it took quite some time to make. The title video of this post is a brief compilation of some of my most elaborate work of this year 2017 –that I can't believe is nearly finishing–. I included not only final illustrations but some process footage that I had been recording. Let me invite you to watch it, comment it and if you like it, subscribe to my channel!
I have also been working in my new Etsy store where I am selling last year's Inktober originals. They all revolve around food and they are special to me because I put a lot of effort on them by making one a day. I am not selling all of them but only those I felt were more beautiful. They were all made in Canson Imagine paper and, as I usually do, painted with a mixed media technique combining watercolors, colored pencils, soft pastels and graphite. I really hope they will find a great new home and this will allow me to continue creating and buy new material. Here is an example of those illlustrations:
Last but not least in this brief post, I am also following this year's Inktober challenge and, although I haven't been able to post every day, I am focusing on Japanese cuisine. If you would like to check it out, you can follow my Instagram account –if you don't already– and also review my recently updated portfolio!
I know this was a short post bu promise to come back soon with more and better content.
Enjoy this day!
With Love and Gratitude.
